Where is the snedeker family now

And never believe her kids. She was a very stupid and horrible person. I saw the documentary, and i believe their story, can't imagine what it was like for them, The Man in the Suit from the documentary is so creepy, and i believe the renovations depicted in the discovery channel documentary could be a cause, and that the boy had cancer. So the film industry wants to make a paranormal horror film based on what happen is what i believe is an insult to the family who endured months of terror.

This my opinion.. How can you write an article with so many WRONG facts, improper grammar, and awful spelling mistakes? If you want to be taken seriously as a writer, go to college, get an education, and please, if you can't do that, at least use spell check. I believe this story is true. Back when I was dating my first husband he lived in Plantsville and there was a story about in the local newspaper about the Snedeckers and the freaky things that were happening to them in the home.

Some of it has been changed for the film but the truth has a certain ring to it. Thry are the worst and proven numerous times to fake stories to make people look like a jackass. I lived in New Britain, which was the town right next to Southington. We never heard of this story. If the house really was haunted it would have been in the newspapers.

I dated a guy who lived in Southington and he never heard anything such story. I never trusted the Warrens, to me they are fake and make up crap to make money. I lived in a 3 family house in New Britain and the grandmother of a gypsy died on the floor we rented. I had experiences in the house, I bet if I told the Warrens about it they would have tried to sell it. A friend's brother still lives in that house, just a different floor and has things happen some things as well.

As far as the Haunting in Connecticut goes, it's all fake. The son had cancer and that is probably the only truth to the whole story. I hated this movie. The kid had cancer, which is aelardy heart breaking, and he was on a drug trial that had a condition. You start hallucinating and you're out. So of course when he starts seeing ghosts he can't say anything or it's back to chemo. Over all it just made me sad. Not a flick I would recommend, ever. Regardless of fact or fiction, I do believe that people who share these stories do believe they have experienced them.

I don't doubt they become exaggerated during the process but I guarantee that the amount of ridicule someone would cop from this kind of situation would be much greater than any profits made.

I don't think we'll ever really know what happens unless we were there to experience it ourselves but for entertainment purposes you can't deny that it's an interesting story. The movie is ok, the documentary is creepier, but the truth is nothing happened. The kid DID die at 38 from Hodgkins recurring. I think if you was to think about it the movie was OK not nothing close the the discovery version but that's my opion.

Thanks for stopping by Raevyn14 and Nicole. I think the whole thing is very eerie. The documentary was interesting, many of the things that happened to the boy in the movie, actualy happened to the Mother in real life, it was just changed to fit in with the story line I have seen the documentary to this movie, it is more frightening than anything hollywood could produce. Thank you J.

I think the house looks eerie and you can still see the morgue doors at the front of the house. I am not sure how much of the Snedekers story is true. Although it does seems strange that their sons Cancer was cured, despite them being told he was uncurable.

If you ever do go and have a look, i hope you share your findings, it's all very interesting :. This is very interesting! As someone who enjoyed the movie and all the hype that came with it, it is interesting to me to hear all the different testimonies from this property. Maybe someday I can go there it's not too far from where I live Thanks for sharing this and I hope to find out the truth some day!

Animal Guides. The Paranormal. Out-of-Body Experiences. Urban Legends. The family soon discovered — to their horror — that their home had once been a funeral parlor, and the eldest son began seeing ghosts and terrifying visions. The experiences spread to other family members and got worse: Both parents said they were raped and sodomized by demons; one day as Carmen mopped the kitchen floor, the water suddenly turned blood red and smelled of decaying flesh; and so on.

Finally the family contacted a pair of self-styled "demonologists" and " ghost hunters ," Ed and Lorraine Warren, who arrived and proclaimed the Snedeker house to be infested with demons. The Snedekers have told their story many times, including on national talk shows and in a Discovery Channel TV show. The film's poster states in capital letters at the top that the movie is "based on true events.

She noted that nobody before or since had experienced anything unusual in the house, and that the Snedeker family stayed in the house for more than two years before finally deciding to leave. Apparently being assaulted and raped by Satan's minions for months at a time wasn't a good enough reason to break the lease. Post a Comment Not all those who wander are lost.
