This week's winner was chosen by the young people and it was our Lead Youthworker Tina. Well done Tina and well done everyone who took part! Which design do you like? At one of our recent creative art sessions on Zoom we learnt about descriptive art and portrait art. We had a lot of fun drawing Tina, who was the model for this on Zoom. Well done to everyone for all the creative skills! The windows have been inspired, designed and created by young people and youth workers at JusB.

Hope you enjoy them! JusB held a competition for young people to be creative and design an activities poster - here is the winning design above left and the runner up above right. Well done! The young people used their creative skills and worked together to make decorations for the forthcoming Halloween event with bats, spiders and balloons, fairy lights and torches.

On the day they prepared the pumpkins, created poetry and scary stories which was read out accompanied by mysterious mood music. We danced and sang to Thriller and listened to theme music which set the scene. We also played games such as Wink Murder it was a good turnout which was thoroughly enjoyed.

There was a well thought out workforce to produce the labour chains which hung over us like a labyrinth. See the results below Turn up the sound and enjoy listening to the JusB anthem music track composed, performed and recorded by young people at our summer programme Jack Petchey Annual Anthem Competition: The young people were encouraged to think of uplifting words that might be used and how in these changing times, to imagine positive outcomes for their futures, we then created sentences.

One of the young people came up with simple cords on her piano which we have used as a basis for the music. So we practiced in the park accompanied with keyboards. Zoom meetings can be a bit daunting looking at yourself in the camera, so to make it a bit more fun we all dressed up or wore masks at some JusB virtual club meetings!
